This -blam!-ing game is relentless compared to Dark Souls 2 lol! I'm kinda disappointed in myself for playing 2 first than 1 lol. I have no idea what to do with this game. It is a great game though. I like how it provides me with a few rays of hope in really tight combat situations. Asylum Demon and Taurus Demon were target practice compared to that Knight all the way at the top of those spiral staircases near the beginning of game. A great game nonetheless. All i can do from here is venture forth. If only these damned skeletons would leave me the -blam!- alone! Lol

If you don't want 2 die, watch this video, shows you an amazing low level, viable wizard class.
-
You'll be wanting those large overwhelming bosses about halfway through the game Those black knights return and respawn later in the game and they are more powerful. Have fun
-
Evidently you played bloodborne too guessing by your name lol
-
Does anybody here play demon's Souls on ps3 and can talk in a ps4 party chat?
-
Now play Demon's Souls. There is no mercy, no light, no reusable healing items and no hope (without cheese). To even get out of the tutorial, you will either die before the boss or during the boss... to just start the game.

Me: "Yeah I beat Dark souls" Me: *Has Vietnam esque flashback* Me: "Yeah it was pretty fun"
-
Dude I'm obsessed with dark souls 1. I am with sotfs aswell but damn. Part of the reason I got a computer was to play that game maxed out with mods and such. It's so much better no lag

Don't forget to summon your fellow sunbro for assistance! Praise the sun! \[T]/

Its an amazing game I've got to ng+7 and I want to beat the game with out leveling.

I know how you feel about playing Dark Souls 2 first, but in a way it's a good thing, once you play for a while you'll probably see why people think it was disappointing after Dark Souls 1. Practice parrying, you might need it at the end of the game. You can parry some things you wouldn't think you should be able to, like the mace of the big knight in the Undead Parish, or the giant club of those big dudes at the beginning of Blighttown. Remember to upgrade your weapons, have a Divine weapon before going into the Catacombs so the skeletons will stay dead even if the necromancers are still alive. And before you get any ideas, THE PENDANT DOES NOTHING. PERIOD.

Don't look up guides. The first blind play through is always the best. You never know what's coming next. It's epic.
-
If you need any help or info on lore feel free to ask me. I'm a dark souls nerd and proud of it \[T]/
-
Demon's Souls or get out
-
Dark souls 1 is better then 2 so you'll love it :)
-
I definitely like the NPC quest lines better in 1 than in 2, be sure to look out for those, and remember to praise it \[T]/
-
"Target practice". Lol! They were pretty easy in hindsight weren't they? Keep it up, don't give up, Praise the Sun.
-
Buy the DLC and you won't be disappointed
-
Beware blightown

The first one is amazing. Second one wasn't as good as the first because of 1. Difficulty 2. Level design 3. Combat was a little more fast paced. I loved that dark souls made you take it slow. Even after you beat it.

If a Giant Serpent appears in Firelink Shrine do not speak to him. If you do this correctly then you will be able to join a cool covenant that gives you skeleton armor.
-
I think Dark Souls is the superior of the two personally :)
