Woods wanders the new ship for some time to get his bearings. It was quite the sight, this recently discovered leviathan. It was definitely different than most ships he'd been on, the lay out seemed much different than any NATO, instead of being utilitarian in nature this ship seemed to have many unnecessary embellishments. He headed towards an armory to inspect some of the weapons in there. They were covered with dust and as he picked up one about the size of his rifle it lite up and the dust was blown off of it. He checked the the magazine, it appeared to be a hard light energy pack. NATO was working on a technology but this was years ahead, he replaced the magazine and slung it over his shoulder. He moved on and kept looting the armory. There was more than enough for anyone who wanted them, he would make sure that NATO would get a large crate of this lost technology.

Nodding his understanding he sweeps providence's leg.

*he hits the floor, a blue flash darting from the initial impact to a gem and rolls back to his feet quickly, a fifth light glowing* "One more to go." *he hands him an assault rifle* "Have that thing ready after the sixth hit."

Confused he makes sure the rifle is ready to fire. Using the rifle but he strikes the man in the gut.

*A bright blue aura seems to surround him, glowing in rings and spinning rapidly* "Open fire man!"

Switching to single shot woods takes careful aim and starts to shoot.

*the rounds seem to do absolutely nothing, no matter where they are fired. Richocheting, vaporizing, stopping mid-air and falling to the ground, or simply curving around him, you soon find the clip empty after about 30 seconds, then the blue glow wears off, the gems returned to their darkened state* "WHOO! YEAHH! ALRIGH- what? Why did it? awwwwww maaaaan...."

"That's not normal, and why does it take six hits to power that up like that?"

"I don't know... Still pretty cool though. I'll have to work on the design."

"I know scientists who would kill for that technology. That is by far the coolest thing I've seen today."

"It is an incredible piece of technology, though I wouldn't think it ready for practical use. A normal soldier is usually dead by the time they're shot six times."

"You've been away for a bit? Armor has improved quite a lot, it depends on what their being hit with. Assault rifle? That depends where they get hit, anything less? It's a toss up between injury and nothing happening."

"I suppose. But not every normal soldier has the luxury of top-of-the-line gear. If your speaking of these mercs however, I understand."

He laughs. "No, these mercs are something else, I'm referring to NATO, although I see your point."

"Anyway, I'll be on my way now, thank you for your assistance." *he leaves the armory*

Woods shakes his head and starts to take inventory of the armory. He'd likely spend his time here.
