It's Bungie Official Now, Canon And All
Titans get work done, yo. We killed Crota, now it's Oryx's turn.

We Titans have long held the line whilst you wrought chaos and destruction down upon the heads of our enemies! To be honest, 3 guardians fighting oryx in the raid sounds suicidal at best. I wish the trailer stayed on a few seconds more showing all 3 fail horribly. And to make it funnier, it would be great if bungie had 3 dead guardians laying in the room where oryx is as an easter egg.
