I would have liked to see the intro to "Money for Nothing" from Dire Straits instead.

....are you inferring that what we know as classic rock is actually another genre? It's the broad term used for the soft/hard/synth/etc rock music styles back then.

Well any rock song will inevitably become "classic" of enough time passes. The tag "classic" only seems to refer to age. So eventually, Nickelback will be considered "classic"
