I played in the Crucible on my dusty Titan account last night, and it's safe to say... if thats what we're all "counting on" to kill Oryx then we're definitely -blam!-ed lmfao. No flaming hammer is saving the sadness that is the Titan in endgame PvE. During the raid, I think we can all safely assume people will be running Defender class..

 • With out hand cannons and blink/Shotty combos now the huntards are going to fail at pvp. Your easy mode supers can only take you guys so far.

 • Are you serious lmao? I detest shotties in Crucible my man, for one. Two, I couldn't tell you how often I've missed with GG. Or been rekt before popping off a shot. And I have been slaying bladedancers, left and right since the update. Oh my lord. Titans though? Naw. Many people have opted out of using shoulder charge because it can be countered too many ways for the desired effect to have any real value as often as they'd like... makes sense. They use unstoppable. I can be having an intense firefight, alone, in a tiny hallway with some titan and 9/10s out of 10 if they have their super they will pop it and demolish me. I don't know about you, but unless you're preserving an actual, live kill streak that's kind of douchey. However, I recently imagined how awesome Titans would be irl (literally last night I tried to play, which is what I based my comment off of lol) and came to the healthy conclusion that FoH could reasonably be used against one person. In the intense combat zone that is the Crucible, very few stars align that allow Titans to utilize FoH to its actual intended use (a huge multikill). This is completely understandable, and I myself cannot wait for the new subclass because I will definitely be playing my titan again. I already love defender class above all others in the game, but I find overall that Titans need a bit more oomf for me to play on them as long as my Hunter. Will be running defender class in the new raid area often tho. I am literally saying they need a bump up.. these are the Guardians that held the first lines of defense for the City. And if Bungie plays it right (AND Activison damnit), we could have Titans that would look so amazing that they would literally establish a precedence for best looking Guardian.
do love the sass of my current class tho ;)
• Imo what can make titans better in PvP are some easy tweaks. Like defender titans having tracking or less delay on suppression grenade = all supers almost null in PvP vs them. Or letting defenders have the juggernsught because having it in striker kinda sucks and makes no sence vs shoulder charge and unstoppable. As for strikers? Maybe letting death from above home in on people within range and BOOM those two talents are not relevant in PvP :)
