The Earth may not be a closed system for Entropy, but the Universe is. Everything, all reactions, are moving towards a state of less complication and equal spread of energy. Whatever is in the lowest energy state, whatever is the simest. New information (e.g. Genetic material) cannot arise randomly because new information cannot come from no information. A sandcastle doesn't spontaneously form by ocean waves, it must be created. Sure you could say that there are one billion grains of sand in this sandcastle, and all of them arranging to form this sandcastle is one billion factorial, and since there are x amount of ocean waves hitting all the beaches every day than eventually it would spontaneously form. But thats preposterous because the waves only serve to break down and simplify material. If a cell were to be spontaneously put together by all of the random materials at once, it would be somewhere around 1/10^238 power. From the book title "In Six Days" second chapter. Now if all of that material could somehow be floating around together and suddenly form a living cell by combining all at once in mid-reaction and become living then reproduce, genetic mutations would actually cause it to degrade, not improve. Let alone somehow turn into all of the variety of life and ecosystems we see today. I challenge you to study both sides of the argument with an open mind. Some books I recommend are "In Six Days" "The Case for Christ" and especially the Bible. Read these with an open mind and always remember that the world will try to deceive you because the Gospel message causes people to be forced to serve God or themselves and take responsibility. With Love in Christ!
