Had to go consult YouTube comparison since I havent been able to pulling myself away from mgs5 and disgaea 5 demo enough to check out Destiny update at length. I'm not speaking purely on the OP's response when I state that comments I read on the voice acting prior to my YouTube consultation legitimately had me under the impression that the new ghost sounded like "Bitch Stewie" from the episode of family guy where stewie cloned himself. You're free to prefer whichever performance you like (I personally found Dinklage's performance monotonous while I found North's only slightly less underwhelming), but the overreactions are damn pathetic. I personally would like to see various more diverse optuonal voice settings implemented for the ghost. In addition to dinklage and north, Morgan Freeman (or sound alike) has been a popular suggestion I'd like to see along with at least one hilarious rapper, a female (sarah Silverman would be hilarious, for those of you who've seen the opening scene of Way of the Gun, viewable on YouTube btw), and a bumble-esque setting where the ghost doesn't say anything -- he just plays songs or other audio he finds appropriate to the moment (you encounter an enemy and he gets an ! Over his head and sounds off something similar to that iconic mgs detection noise lol). That said, that would all be cool, but the ghost and his/her voice doesn't have much of an effect on my Destiny experience as is, and the current voice is not too different from the original. In all honesty, the amount of pettiness around the change is pathetic, and everyone needs to calm down, he reasonable, and stop reaching so hard to find something to complain about when I have no doubt patch 2.0 didn't resolve every fault with the game to the point that there aren't at least a few far more significant things that need fixing to focus on.
