Not possible. Other cinematics show hive dropships--The ones from in game--flying next to the dreadnought, and while they are definitely small in comparison, the fact that we can still see them and make out details relative to the dreadnought tells us the dreadnought can't be that large.

Have you ever thought that...I don't know, [i]maybe[/i] Bungie's scaling is off? Designing a capital ship the size of a small city--which is what those ships would have to be if what you're saying is true--to look identical to their dropships would be a horrid design.
