I don't have a mic (well, I have a broken one), so I've never done Skolas.
I know there are people who've done it without mics using emotes as signals for the Essence, but every time I tell someone on LFG I have no mic, I get insta-booted.
So I haven't done Skolas. I don't mind not playing King's Fall with you, though, so I'm intact.

Using emotes to swap the essence over? So while shooting adds, shooting Skolas and running from end to end, they had the time to stop and use an emote to let someone else know they were about to die. Link to video please.
