You'd be wrong, play Destiny from the start the mood is put off by that idiotic sounding voice. It bears no sense of being to the entire mood of the game. Dinklage nailed it, the Ghost was newly formed and looking for it's Guardian. The first thing you hear is some overly happy voice saying we have to move, sounding like a cartoon nerd the whole way. Dinklage's performance sounded leagues better, fit the mood even when you copied the Stranger and called him little light, his retort "don't do that" fit so perfectly. Ugh revert the original tracks back. Also Nolan has less lines in vanilla Destiny, I know since I played the mess out of every mission...many of the lines Dink says something are completely omitted, this is a hack job at best. Nolan is great in Uncharted but this is piss fawking poor if you ask me, nothing matches, voice, mood and delivery is all crap. They probably had him do this by himself without someone to play off of.

  • I'm not wrong. It's called having an opinion. I've played through the story missions multiple times and not once could be immersed or could take Dinklebot seriously as a character. His performance was flat, dull, and seemed entirely forced and phoned in.

So you're telling me that the new voice immersed you in the story? A voice that has a constant upward inflection as if asking a question? Not to be that guy but opinions can indeed be labeled incorrect, or correct. You aren't wrong for having one just know that just because they're opinions doesn't mean that they can't be proven wrong or otherwise. Where do people get this idea from?

No, I specifically said that I couldn't be immersed, in general mind you, because of Dinkalge's performance. Nolan's performance is much better, and it actually makes me want to hear his dialogue, and makes me even slightly care more for what I'm doing. No, opinions cannot be labeled correct or incorrect. That's why they're opinions. They're based on something subjective. They're entirely a matter of personal taste. Were they capable of being correct or incorrect, they wouldn't be opinions. They would be a matter of fact or fiction.

  • No, he's much better in Destiny than North's lines. I just tried out some story missions and yea the Dink's effort fits better in most instances. It just feels weird in most instances and I'm guessing the type cast of the voice feels more like Jarvis in iron man.
