Yeah, that's the thing, those fighters have outdated shield generators and the hull armor is thinner compared to now. Newer fighters are equipped to combat the thicker hulls. The entire squadron will be shredded

Ok. *I jump in, puts on my helmet and connects it to my life support systems and start to fly out. 10 fighters follow me as we start to take down enemy fighters with relative ease when I see a gunship, and it takes out 4 of the fighters*

*i send the Alamo into the asteroid field and start firing on the bigger asteroids to make it safer for the rescue crews.*
