That is because the way you state it induces fear... However i believe OP (which is fgt) refers as like if your scared to not be alive at any given time. Example: you are old and dying of cancer pretty soon... The person might be fearless of death because it would end suffering

Exactly. I imagine about 99% here who have and would say no would shit their pants when faced with a real life situation that threatens their lives.

That's more of an instinct thing though. I mean yeah I would be scared, but that's because a chemical is telling me to be that way.

Exactly. It's your brain telling you that's a threat to your life. It's fear caused by your brain to help you survive and not die. So you are programmed to fear death.
