The Bible was written by a person who said they communicated with God. What a coincidence that no official communication has happened since. Then there are people who say they have. That is somewhat like Ancient Egypt. The ruler said that they descended from one of the gods. So why would they be on Earth then if they would have godly things to do? Conclusion: people who say they've been in contact with a higher being are wrong.
