Not too far from the Alamo, a rift opens in space. A large cruiser, sleek in design, flies out of it. This unknown arrival, friend or foe, is on an intercept course for the Alamo...

I approach the captains door via portal Alright, I've spoken with my superiors, and I would like to speak with the captain
-
you already spoke to him...
The Admiral is standing on the Bridge. "And what was the conclusion?"
-
The conclusion was to work out a peace treaty. We take your requests into consideration, we put ours in, and settle this. Or, combat between your best fighters against me. We win, you leave. You win, we allow the scout ship to pass this time. What will be your choice?
-
"Best fighters...? We will hear out your suggestions first."
-
We make contact with the leaders of your planet, or planets, in the event of any problems. You will contact our leaders in the case of any problems. You will request permission to put any military ships in our lands, space, and near our planets, and we will do the same. Any cargo ships going either way must be checked in the events of any illicit goods. In the event a war arises, which I doubt, civilians are not to be harmed, and scorched earth tactics are not to be used, ensuring both of our species survive.
-
"And what are the terms for the duel?"
-
Since the combatant on our side has supernatural abilities, and a robotic arm that can function even under damage, you will have 2 fighters working together. Each fighter will be given a sidearm of their choice from their races armory. They will be put inside an arena, with 2 houses from the humans planet of earth consisting of a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The terms of winning are as follows Surrendering means the other team wins, and only one of your fighters must surrender, seeing as the same goes for the human If both members of your race die, the humans win. If the human dies, you win. The spectators will consist of 3 representatives from both parties, and 4 guards to ensure violence does not break out.
-
"Can we see who this, human, is?"
-
You are speaking to him
-
"So, you say that you will use your... 'special abilities.'? That hardly seems fair..."
-
So what are you suggesting? I have a bionic arm that could be overloaded with energy. There. Advantage to your team.
-
"Perhaps... we shall think about this."
-
Speak (message) me when you are ready

The shields are shaken up, weakened. The portside batteries of heavy turbolasers open fire on the frigate, the Carrier/Destroyer dwarfing the frigate in size. The smaller vessel is rained upon by laser fire heavy enough to deal a severe blow to shields, as the concussion missile batteries fire on the frigate. It continues to head for the Alamo.
