Pot causes irregular brain structure which effects memory and intelligence. Also if pot was legalized it would be much harder for teens and kids to stay away from. If I don't want my child to be around stones, best way is to not have it legalized. And about it not being addictive, it can be for many people. Also, it has WORSE side effects on the body compared to tobacco. It can lower your white nervous tissue and can lead to premature alzeimers. Lastly, if we do legalize it in all of America, then why not legalize everything? I believe that is the main reason we shouldn't is that slowly but surely every drug would be legalized and I personally would not want to live in a community where people are stupidly and freely able to do drugs.
Edit: You all have the right to believe in whatever you want, and I will not insult you for that, but I too am allowed to believe in what I want to

Ok well considering I've done many drugs I can assure you I do. Name one drug that is ready to use straight from a plant and if you say cocaine remember that it has to be processed first

LMFAO I'm only commenting on this because you actually think your kids won't try this because it's "illegal" yes no one could ever get their hands on this elusive substance. Thank you government for protecting us from ourselves! The government can not control drugs and they are very available and allow criminal enterprise to be very well funded. Your best chance to keep your kids away from it is to have it regulated. Anyone can get anything sure but thinking the local drug dealer cares if they sell it to your kids or not is hilarious to me.

My dorm in college had 3 dealers on my floor. Yet being under 21 I still had a harder time getting alcohol than weed

I am mainly against drugs because I find it completely stupid for people to willingly lose their senses. I see a lot of smart and good people go bad once they start doing any form of drug including weed and just dont want to see that happen to more people

Honestly don't think it's the "drug" if you can even call it that. It's the person doing it that can't hang or shouldn't be doing things like that in the first place. I respect your decision but I've done a lot of different substances if that nature and I hold down a consistent job and am finishing college within the year.
