If it were decriminalized we wouldn't have to worry about that. I favor decriminalization as well. Legalization just leads to more taxation and government control which we could all do with less of. However, if it's being controlled in some way by government contractors it stands to reason there's a pretty good explanation as to why it won't happen anytime soon.
