PBS is the only decent source of televised news in the US, except really it's the only actual news and the crap on every other channel is just sensationalized garbage designed around entertainment value and ability to increase ratings/money. Notable exception to Vice on HBO, those guys are legit. There may be a few more exceptions but PBS and Vice are pretty much it.
