Swordplay in Gaming!
THIS IS A THREAD TO DISCUSS YOUR FAVORITE HACK AND SLASH GAMES!
In my opinion ALO has some of the best swordplay, but there are some other good games out there too...
Skyrim, Dissidea Final Fantasy, and Monster Hunter come to mind.

I've always like DMC the most when it comes to gameplay, it's probably the best when it comes to hack n slash, shoot'em up type games, followed by Bayonetta, which is also really good. Dark Souls and MGR are other hack n slash games I really enjoyed.

Dark Souls is very satisfying in terms of the feel of each weapon, whether it's the quick and agile slashes of a dagger to the slow and impactful swings of a long sword. In terms of hack and slash I prefer the Darksiders games, combination of fun abilities, combos, and combat made it very enjoyable for me at least.

2 RepliesFor me, skyrim swordplay is the opposite of what I look for. I might as well put tape over RT and go do something else. I like more mechanic based melee fighting, like Dark Souls 1, DmC, or MGR:R.

If you mainly want the destiny playerbase to see this instead of wasting time arguing with people here you can always do a simple edit to move this thread to #destiny Go to edit your post, delete all hashtags and replace it with #destiny so it's actually in the destiny subforum if that was your original plan. Using hashtags organizes the forum better and gets you the discussions you want that much faster. This entire thread has turned into a discussion over the rules and guidelines. If you want to remove the thread, you can also remove all hashtags and leave it blank.
