Lol, and idiots who can't think for themselves is just pathetic, and fairly amusing. People who smoke pot are mostly not addicted to it, that's just a fact. You can technically become addicted to anything enjoyable so some people do, but it's very rare. The vast majority of pot smokers are upstanding, contributing members of society who simply smoke in their leisure time just as many people drink, except pot is dramatically less harmful and a lot more fun (no hangovers if you overdo it, and it's a cleaner high).

Numbers? Statistics? Proof? I'm not flat out saying your wrong, but I think we should have hard evidence of those claims before its legalised, and I don't think that's an unreasonable thing to ask for when it comes to the law.

Go do your research if you need statistics, I actually watch documentaries and read things besides anti-drug propaganda, which results in me being informed on such things, and I can't be bothered to be educating every uninformed person on the Internet so do your own research if you want the facts. The truth is out there, you just need to look for it further than watching Fox "News."

Ah yes, the XYZ people use "insert drug here" therefore it's fine. Of course since I have a different opinion to you I must be an ignorant fool. I urge you to do some real research instead of watching day time documentaries where you have no idea who produced or funded the project. There are no hard statistics on the percentage or pot users to continue to be successful, and most of the evidence they have for OR against legalisation is circumstantial and incomplete.

MJ isn't addictive but definitely is a gateway drug. I have friends that smoke all the time for PTSD, back injuries, and just recreational. It's not bad (alcohol is a drug too). I've been living straight edge for about a year so haven't smoked, drank, or anything else.

Thing is, there's no need to smoke it. There are a number of ways to take it medically that don't destroy your lungs. In any case, all drugs behave differently when the user is in pain. Recreational use is the problem, same as any other substance.

I don't agree with it just because it's a gateway drug. I completely agree that recreational is the problem. That why people move onto Molly, extasy, blow, and eventually things like heroine and methamphetamines.

Exactly. It may or may not be physically addictive, but psychologically, it certainly is. Most users feel the need to get high at any cost.
