To the idiots who say grimoire is only ghosts...
Let me clear up the grimoire=dead ghosts claim.
Ghost account for about 5 grimoire each. Some Ghosts count for 10 or 15 though.
There are 77 dead ghosts.
77x5=385. Let's just round that up to approximately 550. Fair enough?
Only 550 score out of a possible 3620 (xb) or 3665 (ps) can be given to you by finding dead ghosts. While that is a substantial gain, it is not the key factor for a high grimoire.
You say Grimoire doesn't show skill? Let me brake it down.
Where did the other 3,000 points come from? It shows you have played a variety of PvE and PvP content, and that you have done them [u]multiple[/u] times. It shows commitment to the game. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up for debate.
Now, grimoire means, for the most part, [u]experience[/u]. You do not need a high grimoire score to be good. You can have a natural talent at the game.
But:
talent+experience=skill
When talent is refined with experience, that makes a player skilled.
[i][b]Being able to analyze the situation and go where you are needed without anyone having to tell you to. [/b][/i]
That is why grimoire, to me, means skill.
[b]Usually[/b] anyway. I will play with anyone, it doesn't matter to me. But, I will prefer people who have a higher score. I feel I can trust them to know what is going on.

Hmm, lets see, I don't play pvp, don't look for gold chests, don't look for ghosts. Final conclusion, could care less about grimoire, it's meaningless.

7 RepliesA highly skilled PVE player that doesn't play PVP (and vice-versa) could have a lower Grim than a mediocre PVE + PVP player. If they didn't bother with Ghosts, they could easily fall under 2700 Grim. To me, Grim matters very little. An appropriate load-out for a given activity is a much more reliable indicator.

For the completionists thrn grats guys i know thats alot of shit to do. Yes i do have handful of other cards to grab but i dont like rumble lol

Those 550 points are the difference between me being a casual scrub(2700 grimoire atm) and me being an average pro (3200) so ghosts do matter a lot, OP is fgt confirmed.

4 Replies500 points for dead ghosts is a ton. I'd be around 3250 with that, which would look a hell of a lot better than 2770. Grimoire doesn't mean skill, it means this person is ocd with destiny

By the way, people farm for kills and stuff. If ghosts didn't exist and there weren't any good farming techniques, Grimiore would be a fantastic representation of [b]experience[/b].

Ifk, I've seen 10th prestige (when that was the highest possible ) guys in cod with .6 kd. But with me, I've done most stuff besides collecting ghosts. So if I see someone with a higher grimore, I don't think they are necessarily more experienced than me

A bunch of those Ghosts are worth a lot more than just 5 points, but I hear ya man. A high Grimoire usually means that that particular guardian knows his stuff.
