I've got over 24 years in county corrections and I'm all for legalization. Quite a few law enforcement agencies have openly said they're all for legalization as well. It's the federal government and their stranglehold on funding that keeps feeding this bullshit among other factors. I've worked in booking for most of my career. I'll tell you straight up I'd rather deal with a stoner over a drunk any day of the week. It's a travesty of justice that one is legal and the other isn't.
