Oh yeah....I know there are definately some law enforcement groups & certainly individuals that are on the right side of this issue.
It's still true though that the law enforcement & prison employee lobbying groups are a couple of the largest organizations that are pumping money into the fight against legilizaton.

I haven't seen anything on that. The only exception would be privatized prisons, which should be outlawed. There was one case I saw where a judge was getting kickbacks from a corporation for handing out long sentences. I think he got a lot of time himself. I honestly feel like non violent/victimless crimes could be handled in much better or creative ways. I've seen a lot in my time and there is just so much that just doesn't make sense.

Right the real son of the country. Making a profit off of locking up non violent people. Obama just pardoned a guy in Missouri serving life for smoking some weed.
