What game did you love when you were young, online only, excluding destiny

Depends how far I go back... Tons of great games but most weren't online. Love kingdom hearts.

When I was young, online gaming didn't exist. Closest was the first tiger woods that did online on ps2 with the network adapter. I was still about 24 then though.

Phantasy Star Online on the Sega Dreamcast. While people were playing 32 bit games on the PS1 like it was the best thing ever Sega had a 128 bit system with online enabled games that had dedicated servers. Hell with their little removable VMU it was like a prototype of the Wii U. I miss Sega, they made some really nice looking games back in the day and were so far ahead of the curve with technology, sometimes to the point of unpopularity...

Loved what Lego universe was supposed to be, looked forward to it for 4 years. Never payed a subscription because it never met my hopes. Still cried a little when it closed, knowing it would NEVER be that ultimate game I wanted. When I see the early trailers, I still want that game. Building stuff everywhere! Spit out custom vehicles wherever you want!
