What game did you love when you were young, online only, excluding destiny

Halo. Played it when I was very young and ended up getting every single Halo game... All I need left are Spartan Assault, and I can't get halo 5 because I'm on 360

Need a "Older than the internet" option I had an Atari 2600 and an Intellivision when I was young. I loved Dungeons & Dragons also, but that was with paper, pencil and dice. Multiplayer games required you to meet at a friend's house in my day.

When I was young? You're talking during the 56k era. Games like Red Alert were the staple for young people. Y'all need 56k Jesus. That lag was real. Any game was literally Cactuar Simulator. And God forbid someone went and used the phone.

I still check up on Runescape. Saved up for full Torva when it was insanely expensive. The Game has gotten to..... complicated; for lack of a better word. I liked the simplicity of older Runescape, but didn't feel like starting from scratch on the re-released '07 version.
