Because its insane and immoral for a government to criminalize something that doesn't affect others in a negative way. Obviously driving and other public activities would be regulated.

It's because too many people abuse it like they do alcohol It might be harmless in itself but when all these idiots get hold of it they just act like dickheads. Plus, it can have psychological effects, I've known guys to do it where they've gone off and they start rocking saying they want to be alone, having a bad turn an shit. People abuse the shit out of alcohol, you don't want a bunch of these mongs running around pissed up and stoned, who knows the stupid shit they'll do

That's not the point. They are already stoned. People are going to get high legal or not. Having prisons full of non violent drug offenders is expensive and absurd.

Yeah soon as you legalise it then you'll get these people out on the streets acting like complete dickheads, people already do at the minute in small numbers on occasion but if you let people casually walk around and do that shit with their friends then it'll cause trouble. Basically having a high legalised just to benefit the user doesn't benefit those that want to stay clean and am have to suffer with the actions of the takers. I couldn't imagine what it'd be like to see people pissed up and stoned out of their minds everywhere you look, people would be walking into roads and all sorts. People are just to retarded and irresponsible for it to be legalised.
