The new Ghost voice is here, and now that we've probably all heard a good amount of it, I wanna know what other people think of it.
My Opinion:
Personally, I don't like it as much as Dinklage's Ghost. I find North's Ghost to use a tone that totally doesn't fit in the situations. With Dinklage, his deep voice and the way he read the lines were great at showing an appropriate response to what's happening (at least most of the time), but with North, I find the Ghost to be a little too cheery about things and totally kills the gravitas of some scenes ("We've woken the Hive!" is now delivered almost with excitement, not alertness). Of course, it's great that the Ghost has new lines; I was always disappointed that the DLC had zero use of the Ghost's voice. I understand that Dinklage got a lot of criticism about his performance in Destiny (although I think he did great by the time the game launched) and they probably couldn't get him back for more lines, perhaps because of costs, time, or just an issue of wanting him to do more lines, but I prefer Dinklage over North in this situation. North voices some of my favorite video game characters (e.g. Dr. Richthofen, the defective turrets and all the Cores for Portal 2, and Desmond Miles from Assassin's Creed), so I was happy to hear that he was going to be the new Ghost. However, I'm not liking the new voice very much and hope that it will grow on me throughout The Taken King.
I will say that I enjoy hearing "Guardian Down!" now just because it sounds like Elijah Wood.
But anyway, does anybody agree? Or have anything to say (hopefully respectfully)?

The question here is: what do men think of a ghost voice that sounds feminine, like if a bunch of guys were hanging out playing destiny they hear: (whiney feminine voice): we've woken the hive?
