Woods loads a mortar shell into the tube, the best way to sneak into a place was if they were distracted. He launched the flare round into the sky and drew the attention of echelon away from their facility. Picking up his rifle and moving off into the wood line he waits.

Two guards sprint out towards the flare. They obviously are highly trained.

When they arrive at the flare they look around in confusion until one of them steps on a land mine. The mine launches into the air and detonates.

[spoiler]Bouncing Betty kinda thing?[/spoiler] Their heads pop.

[spoiler]sorta yep[/spoiler] Woods looks for any other targets, scanning his surroundings for any possible targets.

He finds none.

He slowly advances towards the hostile base. Keeping good concealment in the wood line.

The base explodes, seemingly out of nowhere. A man, 150 yards from your position, is seen driving a hover bike towards the gunship.

Shaking his head woods makes a b line back to the gunship.

When you arrive, the pilot asks where the rest of the team is. [spoiler]Afk for a while [/spoiler]

Woods tells him he doesn't know, he was solo on the op.

The pilot goes silent. [spoiler]Best bet is probably to find the Professor and roll with him[/spoiler]
