A girl with a strange getup pops out from the back. "Ah hello. Just minutes from closing time" She walks up to the counter. "What will it be lad?"

"Uh... Can I get a menu?" [b]He seats himself at the counter.[/b]

She hands you a single sheet showing a umber of drinks and foods. There are several language translations on it, including english. Drinks, Hot/Iced Tea: Chamomile,Jasmine,Green,Peach,Strawberry,Lemon, Plain Coffee: Black,Mocha,Espresso Pastries Cookies: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Sugar Scones: Plain, Blueberry Cakes(by the slice):Cheesecake, Chocolate, White, Shortcake Muffins: Blueberry, Strawberry, Pumpkin, Plain

"Uhh... Cheesecake an' espresso?"

"Right up" She walks behind her counter and gets to work. She comes back seconds later with a slice of cheesecake and a cup of coffee. She places them infront of you. "Here ya go"

[b]He drinks from the mug and looks out the window.[/b] "Mama brewed coffee all the time... Said it was her 'soul drink'." [b]He looks back at you.[/b] "Got any work fo' a poor man on the streets?"

She leans in and examines you closely. "I know a fellow punk when I see one" She whispers. "If by work you mean hiring, I can. But something tells me that's not what you're after, a paying job i mean"

[b]He leans away slightly, a little freaked out.[/b] "Uhh... M-ma'am, I'm not that kinda guy..."

She raises an eyebrow. "I know you're already employed in a security team, a few of them are regulars here. You don't need a job, you need a weapon" She corrects.

"Oh..." [b]His demeanor calms exponentially.[/b] "I thought the city would be a little less... Y'know... [i]Mean.[/i] I wasn't expecting to get a bomb hurled at me my first day at work..."

"And you thought a job at security would be a walk in the park, this city has mercy on no one, this here cafe got blown up recently, had to pay good money to have it fixed" She shrugs. "Shit happens whether you want it to or not, it's a matter of being prepared and being able to recover"
