Bump. Whenever I used to play trials I could tell how good they were based on grimoire. If they were like 2800 it was an easy win. 3500+ was sweats

I went flawless with an account with 1200 grimoire. I also have 3420 and I'm top 1% with 80% Trials win rate, two weeks ago I was at 3000 lol. My skill didn't changed.
My account is called K1msest if you want to check it out
Did you not read my comments? I said there are exceptions. I never said grimoire affected skill. I said it affected experience and usually with more experience = more skill
-
But you shouldn't say "2800 easy win" A lot of my friends are full PvP players with 2800 Grimoire but with a lot of skill. I don't even watch grimoire anymore, he doesn't mean anything.
-
Yes, but low grimoire USUALLY means they're bad to decent at crucible. Most sweats have 3600+
-
Lol nope, I have 3600 grimore, I suck ass in trails
-
3600 isn't a lot anymore since 3805 is max for Xbox and even higher for PS
-
Grimoire is not always a true indicator of Skill. I direct you about 6 weeks back to the bungie weekly update where they highlighted a player named Jacob for winning an entire match UNBROKEN 1v3 ..... with 2900 grimoire. I've actually played with said Jacob... man is a MONSTER, he just has 2900 grim because all he ever plays is crucible. The man doesn't even play with a mic plugged in.

RealKraftyy is another example. He has a grimoire scrore of 2725. He is ranked #6 in trials and he always carries 2 randoms without even a fireteam of try-hards... I've seen him win 3 back to back unbroken trials game while carrying 2 people. So yeah Grimoire means nothing in terms of skill.

Edited by Flag Zone: 9/13/2015 7:55:51 PMI will always love his rage quit when he lost against me in Trials, his poor friend Twizted doing the Thorn glitch lmao. Ranked #6 in Trials for playtime
-
He plays with randoms, also I've never seen him quit a trials match. Pretty sure it must be disconnected. Unless you have evidence that he actually quit.
-
Um pretty sure I've rekt you with on suro
-
When I did trails at time I had 2800 grim And I've beat people who had maxed grim and over 3000 so to me it's bs
-
I'm saying the majority of players. There's always that few percent that defies it
-
Ok I got you bc I ran flawess on Ps4 so many times beating teams that are experts with maxed everything and beat them 5-0 or 5-4 so it made for some good games and I don't have a good kdr but I can carry my own wait but people do have good games and bad I guess
-
I used to have 2900 and would beat kids with 3500+. It's just usually more experienced players have more skill
-
I agree but it is always fun beating the ones who think there good and turn out to be bad
