When I was young, online gaming did not exist.
Same. PS1, N64 were my first systems.

When I was young the great debate was whether Colecovision or Atari 2600 was better. I'm still partial towards Colecovision. LOL

Edited by SpongyMallard7: 9/14/2015 9:48:06 PMI found an Artari at a yard sale with a controller and a power cord. My Dad found pretty much every popular game and then some. We never found an AV cord.

Edited by SirMang: 9/14/2015 9:53:57 PMWell of course you didn't find an AV cord, TVs didn't have AV hookups...we used RF switches back in the day. LOL You can probably find an Atari RF switch on Ebay or Amazon if you bought the rest of the stuff. Or maybe they've made AV adapters and converters now for it.

We go rid of it, so we never played it. That was like 10 years ago.

This, well it did, but u had to be rich cause u would pay by the hour

Compuserve, non-existent company now lol, was one of the first online subscription services that I remember having games in the early 90s. I'm sure there were other companies that offered online gaming of some sort, but I don't recall any being around in the 80s.
-
Wow .I remember compuserve! And Lycos was it?
-
Holy crap Lycos!!! That's something I haven't heard or thought of in almost 20 years now. LOL
-
Compuserve was my first internet provider.. But they cost a bomb back then!
-
It was something like 10 bucks a month for 5 hours and then 2 bucks each additional hour. I remember hearing about people who had 500 dollar monthly bills. I was smart enough not to do that or my parents would have kicked my ass.

I'm in the UK and it was my first computer.. It was my parent's idea to get Internet. They were there when we signed up. Back then, I didn't even know what to use Internet for! Lol
