[b]Every time one of the orange lights get close, the barrier grows brighter. A creature swings it's light at out at the perfect angle to chop it off.[/b]

[b]Jack ducks out of the way and let's the creature chop it off he then finishes off the creature.[/b]
-
[b]The orb flies towards Galdes but three creatures leap from a burning tree onto you.[/b]
-
[b]As they leap onto Jack they are met with a sword to the torso. He throws them off of him and he starts slashing at the gate attempting to get it open. [/b]
-
[b]Galdes puts the orb-light you chopped off into the barrier and it explodes, sending an orange nova of light in all directions. The creatures begin to flee, and the storm starts to lift.[/b] *Minerva on comms* "Looks like the storm's lifting. Everything okay down there?"
-
[b]Over the comms Jack breathes heavily.[/b] "Yeah yeah, we're okay. Just a small war that's all."
-
"Small war? Comms have been out what happened?!? Are you with Galdes?"
-
"We where fighting off a swarm of creatures. Yeah glades is with me."
-
*she hears a thud through his comms as he collapses* "Check on him! He said he was injured!"
-
[b]Jack teleports him to the ship and brims him to the MedBay[/b]
-
*Minerva is there* "This is why we should have more boots on the ground. We should be worrying about real threats first, and theoretical threats later... Grr." *she puts her hand on her face and drags it off* "Find anything on Murph?"

"I found where he's headed I came here to drop glades off. I'll be continuing this alone it seems." [b]He sets him down on the table[/b]

"I'll stay with him and see if he found anything. Who knows what you could've missed in that storm."

A ball of pure white light leaves galdes' unconscious body and slowly leaves the room*
-
*Minerva checks his vitals, watching the orb carefully, on the verge of chasing it*
-
It starts to move down the hallway*
-
*she slowly follows it*
-
It floats toward a cargo bay*
-
*she follows, a bit quicker now*
-
The orb flies behind some cargo and and seems to have vanished*
-
"What the..." *she searches the room for it*

Where the ball would have been, you find a girl that seems to have been a stowaway on the cruiser since the conclusion of the Matriarchy arc* "Uhnnn?" she says as she sits up*

"Who are you?!?"
-
"Hey, whoa!"

*She gets closer to assure she can't flee* "who are you? How did you get here?"
-
In a calm demeanor* "my name is Aveline. I snuck aboard a gunship when the Civil War and undead crises occured. Id rather not talk about either."
