Purchased wrong edition, cannot purchase the correct one.
I accidentally purchased the $39.99 Taken King upgrade from the PlayStation Store because there was no option to "upgrade" to the collector's edition without paying $79.99. I found out later that if I had purchased the upgrade from within the game I could've gotten the collector's edition for $59.99 I contacted Sony and they were willing to refund me the $39.99 but Bungie's servers have already discovered the original purchase and [i]will not[/i] allow me to purchase the collector's edition from within the game.
The Taken King is coming out in a few hours now, is there any way to purchase the collector's edition and still get the preorder bonuses?

1 ReplyLiterally the only difference between the two are Class items and dance moves.... That's it. Is it really that important to you? I mean shit were about to have a plethora of new weapons and items, shaders etc..!

So the shaders are considered "content" and not "bonuses" then? What happens if Sony actual [i]does [/i]refund my order, will I lose all my preorder content? This whole thing is such a mess.

2 RepliesIf you still have the preorder bonus from your standard TTK purchase, you should be fine. The CE items should be available in a $20 dlc pack just after TTK launches tomorrow.
