Several months ago, I pre-ordered the physical CE since I missed out on the original CE last year (and I'm a sucker for those physical bonuses: hello, steelbook!). I had to order from Gamestop, since it was their exclusive, but in-store pickup wasn't an option. "OK," I said at the time, "I'll just pay for one day shipping. If Amazon pre-orders are delivered on release day, why wouldn't this?"
As it turns out, Gamestop doesn't ship items until release day, then even with one day shipping, they still make you wait one business day for "processing"! WTF?
So while mostly everyone else will be playing late tonight and tomorrow (US time zones) I'll be waiting until Wednesday or Thursday to taste the sweet glorious Taken King expansion!!!
I won't be logging on until I get it, for fear that I won't get my Year One swag if I log in without TKK. At least I have The Phantom Pain to play in the meantime...
Anyone else feeling my pain on this one?

Happened to me last year with the original. One day shipping and nope nowhere to be found release day, I got it the next day. Amazon only from now on, lesson learned.

It's weird that they did this. I live in Alaska and my gamestop had my collectors edition. You would think that of all the places Alaska would get shafted.

You do realize that that shipping and processing stuff is all said on the order page when ordering online, right? Its right there in the fine print. Not bungies fault you didn't read that

Just picked up my copy from Gamestop, entered all the codes and ready to go. Guess you should read and research a bit better in buying stuff online.

I guess you could say you're feeling...
The Phantom Pain.
I'll see myself out now.

Never deal with GameStop. Ever. -blam!- em, you learned your lesson sadly

Solution: stop shopping at gamestop. They are the most corrupted video game retailer out there..
