This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]

• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]

• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else, with the "Unavailable" thing showing up. It doesn't show up on my brother's account, even though I bought both of the other DLCs on my account. If I buy it on his account, will it give it to my account also? I don't want to waste money if it won't.

I pre-ordered the HOW for my son under my account and he had the first DLC under his account. Now he can't buy the TTK? I don't even play house of wolves. This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. Can you say rip off?

Guys at Bungie, im wondering if you can help me with a few things: firstly, ive payed for the £19.99 "weapons package and Suros package" for ps4, my name is Kalrim... So far ive got a nightstalker exotic cloak and a shader which appears to be a rehash of one of the queens class shaders, or very similar. Is this it? I already bought the £39.99 Taken King DLC, and saw the gunsmith was selling fairly dreary, lowish power guns, and after purchasing the Suros package these guns have not changed - for that money im expecting a few really good weapons that can maybe be used at level 40. Secondly, on the £19.99 weapons package page, theres a picture of the jade rabbit, insinuating you also get this as part of the package. Are you misleading us all? I have no jade rabbit exotic scout rifle (lets out big sigh) what is going on??? Do tell

Bungie! I Spent 40$ For Ttk. All My Family Plays On Xbox 360, I Get There's Problems And Stuff, But Now Ttk Is 1 Profile Exclusive?!? Now Thats Just A New Low! Is this one of ur bugs for xbox360 or is it just plain stupid??? I've wanted to play this for so long, and now its just s waste of money!!! Plz just fix up the problem, and u have 4 more customers in the next 9 more years! So my brother got the taken king for our xbox 360. And for some weird reason, the taken king will work for his profile on the xbox we share, but no for my profile. Does any one know why?

So I've purchased the taken king and I'm able to log on and play the main story however all my strike missions are locked and crucible is also locked. When I click on any of the locked stuff I get a msg saying "a Xbox gold membership is required". I already have an Xbox gold account, and when I follow the prompts all the way to the end to renew it says only one allowed per account. I've tried logging off and back on, turning off the console and turning it back on. Very frustrating not having access to the multiplayer portion. Any suggestions or help?

I did all the moments of triumph but it says I didn't complete the chest hunter but on my game maps it shows that I got all the chests in the game, and I didn't get any legend year one stuff

Can you folks respond to the multiple account issue on the 360? Not being able to play a digital purchase on all accounts of the console is in violation of the Terms of Xbox Live.

Alright, I played TTK all night last night.. got off for a few hours for some sleep and when i got back on i'm now getting "Disc is unreadable" With the Digital Collectors Edition on Xbox 360. Is this a problem on my end?

Why are you telling us that the forty dollar edition is available for 360 users on the in game prompt in the director when we are only given the options to buy the $70 and the $90 versions. Please help fix this issue because I have been unable to preorder for the Xbox 360 $40 edition and I was promised by you that it would be available on the release of ttk. Wtf bungee

I have had destiny since release and bought the first two expansions in jan. On release day after pre-ordering 1) no suros shader or emblem 2) still no vip awards 3) no lvl 40 quest and artifact still locked. 4) free exotic never got. (From the green engram) All I can do is the taken king missions and that's it. Spent all this money and have yet to get some word that any of these issues are being looked into. Sinserly, K Ps I just want a response from yall to the masses and I'll be content for a bit.

I pre-ordered the physical collectors edition from GameStop. I entered the code yesterday and received the exotic class items, the emotes, the shaders, access to the vanguard arsenal weapons, and The Taken King but not the Suros Arsenal. According to the Bungie Suros News Release on 7/25 those items would be included with the purchase of the physical collectors edition. I did not receive the shader or the emblem at the postmaster and they are not in my collections. I also am not seeing the 3 Suros weapons for sale at any vendor that were shown in the Suros Arsenal ad released by Bungie on youtube on 8/5. Please advise if this is a known issue and when a fix can be expected. Thank you.
