The Bloodwrath was the Capitol starship of the Death Angel Legion, but it is now in the hands of the Summoner. The ship has been corrupted by the powers of the warp, and is now nearly the size of a planet and partially alive. Certain sections of the ship are possessed and have a mind of their own, while other parts of the ship are actually made of bio matter. The ship thinks.. And it hungers too. It is one if the most fearsome ships in existence.

The Bloodwrath is roughly 20% of the size of Terra. The majority of the ship's exterior is covered in bristling structures the size of skyscrapers. The structures perform various functions, but most are for weapons and shielding.
During the ship's time in the Eye of Terror, it underwent extensive "modifications" by the Summoner's legion, where it literally grew in size and strength. The ship is partially alive. If you look closely, you can actually see demonic faces in it's hull. The ship itself is possessed by horrific warp entities and has a mind of it's own, a hunger too.
The interior of the ship is terrifying to behold, and houses the Summoner's Legion of Darkness, as well as countless demons and warp entities. To be on the Bloodwrath is to be in hell itself.
The ship has many chambers made specifically for interior combat, making the ship damn near impossible to capture.
The ship's multitude of engines are located in key areas and heavily shielded and defended.
Key Items:
The interior is covered in demonic runes that serve many functions, but primarily they are used to block boarding teleportation. If one is lucky enough to teleport in, they will be funneled to one of the killing chambers. (See Bloodwrath in action below for an example)
The ship itself is capable of devouring intruders, but only in certain areas.
Inside the Fire
The legion is funneled into a staging area via a set of mysterious runes, runes that will prevent the escape of this chamber.
Tortured screams of serfs and other laborers fill the cathedral chamber as the legion of the damned materialize into existence. The serfs were preparing the gargantuan chamber for a sacrificial ritual. The legion of the damned show no mercy.
The legionnaires are standing in a chamber large enough to hold hundreds of thousands of legionnaires, this ship is enormous! The arched ceiling is high, it reaches thousands of vertical meters into the air and is supported by many thick, plasteel columns. Large flaming braziers throw flickering rays of crimson light inside the gloomy chamber that dance unnaturally - strange shadows shifting eerily. The floors and walls are made of black marble, and are inscribed with strange, glowing runes that shimmer and hiss at the presence of the intruders. The ghostly air itself is thick and musky with strange incense, the smoke wafts up into the air from all around, although the source of the smoke remains a mystery. The intruders notice they're being watched by a giant, gruesome painting of the III Legion's Primarch, Fulgrim, his too wide-eyed expression alarming and unnatural - the rancid mural was painted with human blood and excremental fluids from decomposing bodies... The pupils can be seen focusing, or are the legionnaires imagining things?
The braziers explode in a brilliant, emerald green flash as the impenetrable blast doors slam shut, closing off all escape routes - the doors, too, are inscribed with the strange, glowing runes.
Cackling laughter of a Primarch gone mad emanates from above, accompanied by the sound of heavy, metallic wing flaps - drops of gooey, coagulated blood rain down on the legionnaires from the obscure, shadowy heights above... And then the killing frenzy begins.
The hulking blood beast, cast in the image of Sarris-Sanguine, lands among the legion. It tears into them ferociously - body parts and eviscerated innards are flung into the air.
Simultaneously, thousands upon thousands of rounds of mass reactive bolts and corkscrewing missiles slam into the horde of the damned, obliterating their front ranks within moments and continuing to shred through them. A line of massive, two story tall, elite venerable dreadnoughts become visible via strobing muzzle flashes and red glowing eyes, turbo cannons roaring, missile launchers flaring. The marble deck crunches beneath their great mass.
Behind the dreadnoughts, thousands of terminators and other chaos legionnaires follow, chainswords and bolt pistols at the ready - their obsidian black armor gleams brightly from the intense muzzle flashes.
"This chamber will now be your tomb... My sons will feast on your flesh, but I will feast on your souls..."

Chapter 8.3 - Battle of the Abyss
Planet Igneous, Abyssal Colonies.
A psychic scream echoes through the fabric of real space as the colossal, Capitol ship, the Bloodwrath, tears through the immaterium and into reality. Immediately, the opposing tidal forces of gravitational pull begin tearing at each other - the Bloodwrath itself is roughly 1/6th the size of planet Igneous. The sky lights up with a breathtaking phenomenon, similar to that of an aurora borealis, as the warp begins to engulf the entire planet.
"After the Bloodwrath has had her fill, you know what to do..." Sends the Summoner telepathically to the Primarch of the Death Legion, his greatest ally.
Moments later,
The Bloodwrath begins it's assault on planet Igneous - dozens of gigantic, chaos bastions detach from the exterior of the hulking ship, and levitate down slowly through the sky, blotting out the sun as they descend. The bastions land in and around the already ravaged Capitol city of the planet.. The bastions themselves are miles around in diameter, and brimming with demons, undead, and chaos legionnaires. Hives of defensive gun towers land around the already, heavily fortified bastions, and immediately open fire on the surrounding city and it's inhabitants.
Once the fortifications are in place, tens of millions of drop pods detach from the terrifying behemoth and enter the atmosphere of planet Igneous. Wave after wave of the Summoner's Legion of Darkness slam into the war torn streets. The hulking, chaos legionnaires exit the pods. Their 9ft, heavily armored forms cut imposing shapes as the brandish incredibly advanced pieces of outlandish weaponry - one could only guess at the nature of these weapons. The forces of the Summoner begin to kill everything, offering the mutilated flesh and immolated souls of their victims to the Bloodwrath and her master, the Summoner.
"26 billion souls, ripe for the taking. Their sacrifice will fuel the next wave of my legion, and once this planet falls, only planet Regloth will stand between us and Terra.. The Imperium will burn, and the gods will piss on it's smoldering ashes!!" Roars the Summoner as he draws his chaos sword, the Blood Reaper, and enters the drop pod.
