[b]It begins to fade, and goes dark. Then an orange beam comes across the sky, the same one you triggered earlier, into its recipient plate. It lights back up and reactivates.[/b]

[b]He grabs the red and blue receptor plate and puts it in front of the beam the next time it shows up.[/b]

[b]There is no hole.[/b] [spoiler]no there are pillars in different locations that shoot beams into the receptor plates of these pillars, which activate the gems and shut down the barrier.[/spoiler]
