So my best friend decided to start playing destiny again after a long hiatus. He, his dad, and I were all in a clan, played from launch. Played pretty much daily, and long story short got very bored of destiny right before the HoW DLC. All decided to move on and play other games.
Then 2 weeks ago or so my bud tells me he's been playing destiny and is getting TTK. It's out of left field like he had sworn he was done forever and deleting the game. Then he's a diehard again. I've been playing a ton of League of Legends, and had been ignoring my Xbox greatly. Hadn't considered playing destiny and haven't played since an Iron banner in May or so.
So Saturday night I'm drunk and hop on the XBox for some Fifa and see my buds playing destiny. I hop on, bought the dlc without a whim and had been playing often the past few days. Then I realized the new DLC would come out today. And what a blower. Bad timing or decision making, either way, I'm locked out of doing a lot.
Now it's not that I can't afford it, but if we're to put more money into destiny right so soon my wife is would freak out. I need to make an excuse in the worse way so that I can enjoy my rekindling with destiny. Lol what should I do?
