"Fine. I trust you two can deal with it alone."
As you reach the top of a hill, it drops off to a large cliff with a vast ocean at the bottom.

-
"Alright." He looks over the cliff nearly falling before he catches himself. "Ohh shit."
-
*Minerva on comms* "Listen, your location has an odd aura surrounding it, according to scans. It may block long distance teleports, so keep it to short ones if possib**. I also thi** comms m** b* *oing ou*-" *the comms cut out to static*

Edited by EvoTymes: 9/16/2015 12:27:49 AMComms: "Minerva? Minerva! Shit." He looks down at the cliff.
-
There is another ledge lower down, fairly close.
-
Edited by EvoTymes: 9/16/2015 12:30:02 AMHe slowly climbs down to that ledge
-
There is some writing in a blue substance on the wall. "THE TRIAL OF WATER." Below are a few instructions. "Hello warrior. This trial will test your decision making skills, your senses, and most of all... Your lung capacity."
-
"Looks like I'm taking a swim." He says. He looks down at the water and realized he's at a safe distance to dive off. He does a breathing technique for a few moments so he can give himself the most air possible. He clams his nerves and clears his mind. He then jumps and dives into the ocean water.
-
*there seems to be a cave about 30 feet down*
-
He swims for the cave holding his breath.
-
It goes down a bit, but then it goes back up and you an see an air pocket. On your way towards it something grabs your leg and begins to pull you back down.
-
He draws his sword and slashes at the thing that grabbed onto his leg
-
Your sword swings very slowly against the pressure of the water, but is strong enough to knock the hand of a humanoid creature with fins along its arms and back off of your leg. It swims swiftly in front of you and tries to chomp your throat while pushing you downward.
-
He pushes it away from him and he impales the humanoid with his sword.
-
The sword passes through it rather slowly, but it is enough to kill it. However, the sword doesn't seem to slide off very easily, and the body is weighing you down. Your lungs are under heavy stress at this point.
-
He puts his foot in the lifeless body and jerks his sword away from it to set it loose. He then swims to the air pocket.
-
The air pocket is quite a relief, after the long swim. Looking around you see two more pools of water, a few markings around the cave, and another bit of writing on the wall.
-
He breathes heavily gasping for air. After he catches his breath he looks around at the writing and the markings.

Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 9/16/2015 1:20:18 AMOn the wall behind him, where he entered, there are three black X's. There is a message on the wall in front of him, between the two water pools. "Each pool of water is a path, one will take you directly to your destination. The other will take you to a place where death is highly probable. If you solve the riddle, however, the correct path's gem will light up." You now notice a blue gem above each pool of water. "You will have three chances to guess." The riddle is below. "A box without hinges, lock, or lid, Yet golden treasure inside is hid."
-
"A box without hinges, lock or lid yet golden treasure inside is hid." He repeats this to himself for a few times then thinks and stops for a moment. "An egg." He finally answers.
-
"Correct." A rather ghostly voice speaks as the gem over the right pool of water lights up.
-
"Alright." He does the same breathing technique and dives into the right pool.
-
It leads down, then back up into another cave.
-
He continues to swim. He keeps a hand on his knife just in case.
-
The way seems clear all the way to the next pocket of air.
-
He swims up the next pocket air
