I have been downloading the game on the PS4 for over 14hrs now and still have 5GB to go... nothing is wrong with my internet connection. What is going on?

Makes me want to slap everyone at bungie for ruining my preorder

The two point zero download is huge and if usinhg a router it may take all day to download. Look up network trouble shooting and you may find an answer to current issue:)

I have downloaded 8 and 9GB games and updates in 4 to 5hrs (respectively) so I planned on this 17+GB download taking around 9hrs. I read a 500pg book and slept while waiting, expecting to wake up and be able to play the game. I'm only halfway through the download... there's something else happening.

If you are using a wireless connection, don't. Try an lan connection bruh, my two ps4s had different download times. The lan update took like an hour for 2.0 and 30 mins for ttk. While the wireless took hours for both. I would recommend you to try that first. Hope this helps.
