I'd say 260.
People don't remember the launch of Destiny.
Nightfall was lvl 28 (280 light) max level was 30 (300 light) but you could only achieve 29 (290 light) without raid gear. VoG was a 26 raid (260 light)
Nightfall required a higher light lvl then the raid did and I'm assuming there doing that system again.

Remember for Crota though, nightfall and raid were the same. Still both below vendor gear max. Everyone should try for 280 just to be safe.

Oh yeah 280 is my goal, but I think it'll either be 260,270. Again I could be wrong. Anyone could be wrong at the moment

your math is a little wrong, 5 light (new) == 1 light level (old) did skolas last week to help friends with triumphs and recommeneded light was 175 (35*5 = 175)
