I'm having difficulty. I work full time and I'm married so some might call me a "filthy casual" but whatever I don't care.
Regardless, I'm trying to make the most of my time in game, so I get doing the crucible for 15 legendary marks, but otherwise all sources of legendary marks require like 240 light, which is tough to get to without legendary marks, so it seems like such a grind to get there.
Any tips?

It certainly is more of a grind than it used to be. I tried completing as many quests as possible. Some of them reward you legendary gear and marks. Once you reached about 250 you can play the heroic playlist and get more marks :) And hey, i have a family too man :)

I did the daily crucible Playlist and I didn't get any marks? I heard you have to be level 40 to get them? can anyone confirm?

Plus as your light level goes up so do rare items so you don't really need to farm the marks right away also your chance of a legendary increases with each strike as long as you stay in the matchmaking timer without going to orbit

Personally I think doing the strike playlists are much more rewarding over crucible right now
