Bungie, this is what I will do with my motes...
I saved up about 250 motes of light so that I could spam the hell out of Xûr's engrams for some TTK exotics. But nope! Because from now on, his engrams will only turn into Y1 items.

I'm gonna spend all my motes on the engrams not for the items, but so that they'll rank up my Cryptarch.

[b]Edit:[/b] Nevermind! I read that they were adding an item called a Legacy Engram (which only give Y1 gear). I thought it was saying that this [i]replaces[/i] the normal engram, resulting in access to only Y1 engrams.

5 Repliesand the dumbass of the year award goes to Salamanderis If you've noticed that any engrams that have been saved up are always year 1 or the previous expansion weapons/armor? For instance, you can't get dark below gear with engrams acquired in regular desitny you can't get house of wolves gear with engrams acquired in dark below expansion you can't get the taken king gear with engrams acquired in the house of wolves expansion
