Ok i'm going to explain this like you're 3
We WE the people with the taken king are left out of the base game stuff
Now base game THE STUFF THAT CAME WITH THE GAME the original game
Such as Nighfall,weekly, Dally? (I'm not to sure about daily)
and toO now we spend money on a dlc you shouldn't take stuff from other dlcs and say "HEY SO YEA WE TAKE HALF OF HOW AND PUT IT IN TTK"
i'm sure I could on but i'm pretty sure you get the point

You obviously didn't read the OP or can't read at all! Weekly nightfall and daily stories are all FEATURES that revolve around the latest content! Since you have not bought TTK, YOU CANNOT PLAY THEM ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY ARE NEW CONTENT STORYLINES!

The Weekly, Nightfall, ToO and Iron Banner are all [i]features[/i] They take the latest content such as new level-caps and new gear and center themselves around it. The Nightfall is now centered around the new level requirements and new content. Content that you have not paid for. The content that you paid for (Missions, Strikes, Raids, Guns, etc etc) is all still there. Just because its not the difficulty that you want does not mean it isn't there.

Yes but you did not PAY for those features. You paid for the content that was altered or affected by those features. They now include the latest content. Content that you have not paid for. Therefore you cannot access them.

lol, I love how you try and break things apart into features and content. So, if Bungie decides to take away PvP from the game, but you still have access to the maps. You can load a map and walk around in it - thus as you call it, the content is still there - but you can't actually have PvP matches, you would think this is ok? This is basically what you are telling everyone. They still have access to the Missions, Strikes, MP Maps, but Bungie hasn't done anything wrong by taking away all the variable ways to use them, because they still have access to them. The fact is, people can no longer play the game like they were able to when it was purchased, they have legitimate complaints. If I was to go out and buy the game, plus all the expansions, not including TTK, I could not play the game the same as everyone else was able to play the game for the first 12 months - that's BS.

You pay for the entire package . . . features and content. It was a part of their original marketing campaign when they sold the game to people a year ago. When you sell software to people, you are selling them features and content, not just content. . .

WoW, Diablo, SWTOR, etc etc all work this way. The new expansion comes out The new content is featured The features that were previously available now feature that new content instead of the old. An expansion based game is a [i]service[/i]. They provide a constant changing environment for their players and in return for that change the players have to keep up with that changing content or they are left behind. Except WoW even charges a monthly fee on top of the expansion itself.

And it's funny you bring WoW into the conversation because when they release an Expansion pack, they don't remove features from people that don't buy it. People, for example, can still use dungeon finders and still play the hard mode for dungeons, etc. PS: I have TTK and it's rather silly to play this game and not buy the DLC because it is constantly changing. I'm just playing devil's advocate.

It's not available to you because it features content that you haven't bought so you would be an idiot to think you deserve to play it if you didn't buy it

I wouldn't expect to play TTK content if I didn't buy TTK. But I would expect the nightfall functionality to still exists in it's previous form. Why wouldn't you have 2 versions of it: * If you didn't buy TTK you get the non TTK version (old strikes and lower level) * If you bought TTK you get the new version (all strikes and higher level) Sounds pretty simple to me.

But, the nightfall doesn't exist any more in the same capacity it did before. The name remains but it's a different dance now. Weekly heroic? It's also gone. Now it's a heroic playlist. I'm sure they could have some programmers write lines of code to accommodate the nonTTK owners, I wonder where that money for salaries will come from?

Because it ALWAYS revolves around the latest level cap and since that is 40 now, you can't play nightfall because there is no way for you to get to level 40. Don't try and make it sound like your OP was there should be 2 nightfalls. It clearly wasn't your original state be at all

You used to have access to nightfalls and now you don't. That's a loss of functionality. I never once said people that didn't buy TTK should be able to play TTK content. Nightfalls were introduced with the base game a year ago. . . they are not something new with TTK.

Yes but the nightfall will now likely be a level 40-42 strike so people who don't have TTK will not be able to reach 40 and play them anymore

The simple solution is to offer two versions of them. If you don't buy TTK, you get the old version of nightfalls at the lower level and just the old strikes. If you did, you get the new version. Doesn't seem hard to figure out to me. . .

Yes, I made that statement. . . what are you suggesting it implies? Before TTK came out, non TTK owners had access to nightfalls. Now they don't. No where in that comment did I ever suggest that non TTK owners should have access to TTK content. I simply said they lost functionality.
