I wholeheartedly disagree.
Titans have been nothing but targets in the Crucible up till now.
The Fist of Havoc is mocked as nothing but a panic button, and the entire Crucible community has more respect for a grenade than the Ward of Dawn.
Now AFTER A YEAR the Titan is at last able to hit as hard and as fast as a Hunter and a Warlock, and you can't even cope with it for two days.
Seriously man. Supers are OP, yet we -the community- have been able to adapt, overcome, and deal with them.
So deal with this one too.

If that's how you feel about Titans, I simply cannot take you serious. Titans are a juggernaut on the battlefield if being used by those who employ strategy in their playstyle instead of mindless run-and-gunning. I know it from personal experience. When I play as a Titan, I rarely ever do anything but defender. And most of thetime when I play as a titan. I lead my team to victory with it through strategic uses. Hell.. most of the time I don't even realize my super is full anyways and I still remain a clutch player in numerous settings even without ANY supers as a titan, or otherwise.

Edited by HELP1NG HAND: 9/16/2015 10:40:25 PMOh -That's not how I feel. That's how EVERYONE else feels about Titans. The Fist of Havoc IS derided as nothing more than a panic button, and the Ward is looked at as merely a target. I applaud you for playing as a Defender, its a difficult class to play well. I main a Defender as well, even in the Crucible. And I have nearly a year of first hand experience to draw on when I tell you that the Ward of Dawn is NOT respected by anyone who is not a Defender. The Crucible is FILLED with fools who have no respect for how quickly they will die when they charge directly into one. And if they have a super handy, when they look at the Ward they see a stationary target and a free kill. That doesn't mean that the world is so simple though. Defenders aren't common in the Crucible, and I have much more experience playing as a Defender than they have fighting against one. Sometimes they win. But if they don't come at me just right, they're not gonna score the kill. And if they screw up and make a mistake, I'm gonna tear them in half before they even realize where they went wrong. Inside my ward, I am a monster! If none of them hit my bubble with a super, I will kill the whole enemy team! -multiple times. Because none of them has any respect for the Ward of Dawn. They're just moths to the flame. As far as they're concerned, the Ward is merely a target. Now instead of a passive zone of protection, or a single massive hit that can wreck them if too close, there is a Titan super that behaves more like every other super in the game. A ranged area attack that will one shot enemies. And people are pitching a fit.

To be specific, it's the only ranged area attack that can be fired off "without limit" and unlike GG's Firefly perk, these hammers can explode no matter what. There is no requirement to causing splash damage like GG has, and unlike the Sunbreaker, you only get one shot as a Voidwalking warlock and your super is done. My own "fit" is well pitched and not without reason or logic. Yes, it's good that it behaves like the other ranged supers, but it is still far more powerful than them, even in the hands of mediocre players.

Edited by HELP1NG HAND: 9/17/2015 3:10:57 PMA Sunsinger can wing about as many grenades in a super as a Sunbreaker can hammers. -And each of those is a one shot area hit too. A Bladedancer can move faster, blink all over the place, drop people from one end of the map to the other, even initiate area attacks and line attacks -Without Limit- All of which are one hit kills. The Stormcaller is able to race around the map too, filling entire corridors with the power of the dark side. He is -Completely without limit- able to cover an entire area with super energy -for an extended period of time. (Seriously, he doesn't even need to wait the half second for the hammer to come flying back to him before he can initiate another attack) He just roams the map, wrecking all manner of face. One blast from him will one shot anyone in the vicinity, and he can do it repeatedly, and from rapidly changing locations. No way, man. I strongly disagree. The Sunbreaker is no more OP than a Hunter or Warlock super. -The community just isn't used to a Titan being able to hit like a Warlock or a Hunter, so they're freaking out.
