After speaking to 2 Xbox customer service people on the phone and now spending a hour talking to them on the chat on Xbox.com they have basically informed me that I have to buy the DLC again even though my boyfriend purchased it on the same account because apparently it cannot really be shared ? Not happy and scrolling through the comments I don't appear to be the only person that can't play the taken king DLC on a console even if another account on the console brought it? What the -blam!-? Never had this problem with the last two DLC's and I refuse to pay another £39.99 for something that states in the usage restrictions that all players on the first console it's bought on can play it.. Does this mean you've decided that everyone has to buy it separately or is it just -blam!-ing up still? Not happy considering I've been waiting for this to come out and then all this shit happens.

Dude this is so true we should all gather money and sue the shit out of Bungie because of this -blam!- up sue them to the point where they are so in debt that their kids are in debt

What you needed to do was keep your boyfrend signed in & you sign in to your live on a second controller. Log in to your destinty while his controller is still signed in and it would have gave you everything he purchased. Me and my brother do this all the time :]

I have TTK on my sons console and we have been able to share it across both so Dlc is working for two accounts. We both have live subscription too

You, my fellow lady gamer, should request a refund because it states on The Taken King DLC 'You can use this item on the first Xbox 360 (or Xbox One) console you downloaded it to. Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console.' Like you, I too have run into this 'sharing' issue and have just sent an email to Bungie for some insight but after reading these forums I feel my answer may be long awaited.

I have emailed them with a picture of there usage restrictions and said that it's unfair I've had to pay again! And I know how you feel it's a shame cause destiny is a really good game just not impressed with how they're treating us and thank you same if I do to :)

Oh gosh, I feel your pain. It's such a shame, especially since there were so many issues still present within the game itself before this new DLC. We didn't need more! Here's hoping we get some result and may it be a good one! Thanks so much! Waiting anxiously! :)
