I know what you mean and thanks for having an intelligent conversation and not an argument with me. There is 2 sides to it in the end I guess.
(1) In getting this game off the ground there needed to be some things that were given away so to speak to entice gamers to want to see it expand ie: desire to purchase the DLC's to be part of its evolving story/end game.
(2) TTK destiny evolving into a game that is a huge step in the right direction for how it plays and in doing so has parameters that don't allow what's been done in the past for players without DLC but this is an expansion and the way its set up with new subclasses and leveling systems there would have to be even more separation playlists. At some point they have to move forward and in doing so keep the gamers hungry for more.
