Xbox360 The Taken King: Legendary Edition purchased from XBL does not recognize it's installed
After purchasing the $60 Legendary edition, and after 4 hours of downloads and updates, the game loads fine, but all of the Taken King content is not available. It is asking for a code or for me to purchase it.
All I can ask is, REALLY? The FULL game and all DLC and expansions were just installed as a function of me purchasing it. The purchase is registered on my account via Microsoft. I am certain that I do not need to clear my cache or restore (read: re-download) the hundreds of licenses of games I have purchased.
Why on earth is this happening and how do I fix it?
And the 10 "sparks of light" that I received as red bull codes and entered into the Destiny site associated with my account didn't appear either. Apparently I will be digging through the trash to get the codes so I can re-enter them. Awesome.

The resolution to this challenge Launch the game from "My Games" and not from a Destiny disk. I made the mistake of ordering the full Legendary when I have the original game disk. If you launch from the game disk, it will download all updates but will NOT download the Taken King or the expansion packs. That only launched when I started the game from the "My Games" section. Hope this helps.
