I paid like $60 for DLC on Arkham Knight and all I got was a 20 minute side mission and some new batman outfits. don't be butt hurt about $40 man.

Did people who didn't buy the DLC have content removed from the original game?

Yes, the DLC content was removed from the base game as evidenced by "day one DLC"

You have no idea whether that was removed content or added content which hadn't been ready when the release version was packaged. Regardless, the issue is whether material is removed from the game once purchased. What was done with the game pre-release is not relevant. No material was removed from the released version of the game for people who did not buy the DLC.

I don't know because everyone just bought the DLC and shut up about it.
