It's entirely true, and for the moment, count yourself lucky you haven't had to taste the ire of mediocre players winging hammers as fast as they can at you. I played for hours and hours yesterday, and out of the hundreds of titans I seen, only a handful were Strikers, and I didn't see a single Defender bubble the entire time I played. The only realistic way to practically counter the new Titan super is by being a Nightstalker hunter and using your super on them to snuff out theirs. Other than that, you have to hide and wait for their super to run out, or hope that they suck bad enough that you can successfully flank them, which isn't all too easy even then, what with the exploding-ness of it all as well.
