even what TDB and HOW came out you could still get gear/weapons and you could still do nightfall just not on the week it featured the new stuff. You could also get max light via iron banner. now it seems all that is gone. plus who in the world do you know spends 100 bucks on a game just to be locked out of that game 12 months later. no one would spend that kind of money with that knowledge. They didn't even warn people which is even worse.
